Steve and I got to take a dstrip of a life time this summer. We got to go out west. We had the BEST time. I will post more pics later but for now here is a sneak peek.

CK Convention

Well Steve and I went to the CK Convention today at the Opryland Hotel. It was really fun and I got to get some really good cartrides today. I can' wait to see what I come up with using them. i also got alot of distress inks and Jenni Bowlin inks. Here is a pic of what I got today.

Hello everybody I didn't think that it had been so long since my last post. There has been alot going on around here. First back in Mamy my baby brother got married and we had alot to do with that, then after that we had VBS at our Church. I am the director for VBS so I was tied up with that it was a week long of fun. Then when that was all over Steve and I decided that it was the right time to take a vacation. So we are on vacation now which we are driving across country to just see the west we have never been here so with the Lords help and timing we are taking the trip of a lifetime. Just thought I would drop in and say hi I will up load some of the trip later. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I can't wait to scrapbook this trip it's going to be a BLAST!!!

It has been snowing all day today.When we looked out the window this what we saw, the weatherman said that we were only suppose to get 1-2inches as usual they missed it. LOL!!

We or should I say I, I wanted to tear this old house down that is on our farm and when the men that were working on it, they got down to the last part and this is what we found. They said that we should not destory it so of course we couldn't and now we are fixing it somewhat. I just love it and the red roof just sets it off I think. the pictures are not in the right order. LOL

Hello everybody sorry it has been so long since I have posted, We have had a lot going on around here. My Mom had knee surgery and then this past wed, my Dad had back surgery. Then in between the time of my Mom's surgery and Dad's, Our "baby" whiskers, our cat that we have had for 11 yrs passed away. Steve and I have been so lost without him. We have decided for now not to get another cat. Everybody has told us that we need to but we just can't right now. Here are a few pic. of him.

Hello everybody, here is what I have been playing with, does everybody remember these things shrinky dinks. I use to "play" with these with my Granny. I thought that I would make a bracelet for my Best Friends little girl. I forgot how fun these were, this is the first time I have made a bracelet if she likes it I may have to make more. Today is Steve's 41st birthday. I love you so much! We went for breakfast as usual to Cracker Barrel that is after we went to the gym. We go there so often that they know what we went want when we go in we don't need menus. The girls also sang Happy Birthday to him but i didn't get a picture of him then. Here is the one I did get though. He loves his coffee too.

We had a good time spending time at my Parents house Sunday. Mom said that she had a great day.Here are some pictures of Me and Steve and My Parents my brothers and families had not gotten there yet. This one picture of my Dad in the roses is of my favorites of Him. The rose bush was my Grandma's. He said that he was going to get in Momma's flowers it was so cute.

CRAZY-Weather- Crazy

Well we have been having some CRAZY weather here. It goes from 60 degrees and "warm" in Jan. to tornado watches and now today it snowed for about 2hrs. as hard as I have seen in a while and now it is gone. It is suppose to snow and get cold again later this week. Here are some pictures from the tornado sky yesterday lucky it didn't hit around our area.

Looks Like Christmas

Well we have finally taking the time to take pictures of the Christmas decorations and it looks like Christmas. We just have to wrap the gifts now. Steve and I went to Cracker Barrel to eat today and they had this rudolph the red nose reindeer rocker and it plays music too, and we just had to have it. So we had to put one of the dolls on it. Isn't it so cute.

Here are a couple of cards that I made today. I got this new paper pack from K& Co at Hobby Lobby this week and wanted to use it. The paper looks like old wallpaper. I used stampinup cs for the base of the first card and for the second I used kraft paper cs. I also used my new papertrey ink stamps for the words. Hope everyone enjoys and has a wonderful weekend.

Hey everybody, we are back from the mountains and it is was so pretty . We have never been there this time of the year. The trees and water running over the rocks were beautiful. We went thru Cades Cove twice and went up and over the mountain. We could have stayed longer.

Well we haven't been on vacation in two years, so we have finally decided to go somewhere for a couple of days. We are going to the Great Somkey Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tenn. for 3 days. i just hope that it's not too hot. I will post pics when we get back at the end of the week. My cousin is having her first baby in a couple of months and I am helping give her a shower. I am going to be making diaper cake later this month and I am more in charge of the decorating so I get to make all kinds of fun stuff. Here is a mini baby book that she can take to the hospital and put first pictures and his name and weight in. I used my BIA and used baby boy nursery paper mat stack (4.5x6.5) I also used the New Arrival Cricut Cart.

Hey everybody! It is fair time here in our town. I haven't ever entered anything in the fair so my DH said that I should try this time so I entered two things first was this card. and too my surprise I got second place.

Hey everyone I thought that I would jump on here for a minute to say Hey! Well we finally got done hauling hay thank goodness there are some rude people on the road that won't move over. Then on the last load of hay the tire on the wagon came off and messed up the wheel, just our luck.

Everybody that knows us will laugh at the "date night" title b/c they say we have a date every night but we went to the DRIVE-IN tonight (our town still has one of the few still around)we seen the new "Hannah Montana" movie it was really good. they also had "Race to Witch Mountain" but we didn't stay for all of that one. well since I am just rattling on I will stop for now. I did go to Michael's and Joann's today I will post pics of that Sat. afternoon sometime.
